INFORMATION YOU MUST HAVE TO GO FORWARD
There were some questions as to how rainouts are handled in our
group and it needs to be understood by all players how this is done. I
have pasted, from our RULES page, the way it has been handled for
many years. If you have any questions after reading this please let me
know so we are all on the same page.

“NINE OF THE SAME HOLES PLAYED BY EACH PLAYER CONSTITUTES
A COMPLETE ROUND IN THE EVENT OF RAIN OR OTHER WEATHER
PROBLEMS. POINTS NEEDED WILL BE ONE HALF OF THE PLAYERS
TOTAL POINTS NEEDED. RAIN DELAYS WILL LAST NO LONGER THAN
45 MINUTES WITH A DECISION TO RESUME OR CANCEL PLAY IN
THAT TIME PERIOD. IF A PLAYER LEAVES AND PLAY IS RESUMED
THAT PLAYER FORFITS HIS ENTRY”

FRIDAY RESULTS

17 PLAYERS 17 PLAYERS PAID FULL GAME

Friday with rain, is where the question came up about how this is
handled. Unfortunately, I had returned home to meet with my wound
care nurse when the rains came falling down and some players I guess
had never read the way rain outs are handled in the rules section on
our website. Some left, some stayed and some actual played the full 18
holes. Had the full 45 minutes been adhered to we would have all been
playing 18 holes because the rain only lasted 15 minutes. All this being
said I take full responsibility for not having been available to assist
with what we should have done. Sorry for creating the confusion.

SATURDAY RESULTS

25 PLAYERS 25 PLAYERS PAID FULL GAME

Just wanted to mention how thankful I was when we had 25 out of 28
players signed up for Saturday. It would have been so easy to just go
back to bed with what was happening outside with the extreme weather
but you got in your cars and came out to enjoy hopefully a day of golf.
Well, the day of golf was awesome as the players were treated to a
perfect day in the high 70’s to low 80’s and light rain that stopped two
to three holes in to their rounds.
