CLEARING UP SOME RULES FOR OUR GROUP
There are still players playing different rules of play for our group and I want it
understood what is right and what is wrong.
#1 Ball out of bounds to be played at point of entry and you take a 1 shot penalty.
#2 Ball in area marked red with red stakes or red paint for hazard. If you find it
you may play it from there or drop outside of the hazard taking a 1 stroke penalty
#3 Number 3 does not have a drop area and if you do not clear the area marked
red for hazard or cannot find your ball you must re-tee. In the interest of play
time if you cannot see your ball hit a provisional. Again no drop area!!
#4 If you find an area in the rough that your ball is in and you do not like your
lie you may drop from your knee no penalty. This does not say that you can
bump your ball around with the head of your club in the rough you may drop it
from your only and it is then in play and cannot be further touched
#5 There are no gimmies. I don’t care if your group says “you would have
made that” you did not so no points for that hole period. No discussion!!
