PACE OF PLAY AND SCORE CARDS
Guy’s we have been a little remiss about turning in score cards so let’s do a
quick refresher course. Two score cards from each group so I may check them
over the weekend. There have been some errors that I have found on the score
cards that I do get which are only about 70% of those players that day. You also
have to verify with the other player keeping a card in your group.
Pace of play has been ok except for a few players that hold your group up. We
are going to put back into effect the one point deduction of every player in your
group that finishes more than 20 minutes behind the group in front of you. I
can only imagine the feeling some of your group has when you look ahead and
see no one in site but look behind you and see carts sitting on the tees and in the fairway.
THAT MEANS YOU ARE OUT OF POSITION!!!!

MATT MOORE GOES OFF
Good things happen to good people and that is just what happened to Matt
Moore on Friday at Eagle Dunes. Yes, Matt is known as a good player but how
good? How about we try a round of 66 that included not one bogey and six
birdies. Matt set his personal best round on Friday and it will now take some real
playing to equal or beat that record for him. Do I see a 65 or better in there?
Don’t be surprised if it happens!!

It was a weekend for some personal bests and some all most personal best. Keith
Sommer came within one stroke of his own personal best as he posted a 73 +8.
Josh Bain posted a great round of 70 +4 and second place. But the real story of
Saturday was Tommy McNeill who claimed the only skin of the day worth $180
