We are going to step away from the MVP being Most Valuable Player and make it
MOST VALUABLE PEOPLE

Lake County Sheriffs Office for this week.

To those of you that have followed the horrific thing that happened on
August 2 nd. Lake County Sheriffs were called into an ambush that left
Master Deputy Bradley Link dead, and two other Deputies injured one
with life threating injures. Deputy Harold Howell had surgery and was
treated for gun shots he received and was released the following week.
Deputy 1 st class Stefano Gargano is scheduled to leave the hospital on
Monday after having survived his life threating injuries. He has had
seven surgeries to this point with more still to come. You May ask
yourself how has Stefano made the recovery that he has to this point?

Faith and want.

I ask that when you see one of our law enforcement officers that you
give them a wave and a thumbs up. It is sometimes a thankless career
and it is nice to think that you have the support of the community.
Be sure to watch the news Monday evening and see Stefano leave to a
hero’s welcome back with his family in the Lake County Sheriffs
Office as well as other departments from central Florida. It very much
is a brotherhood.
